Growing carryover pools and a number of interesting races are among the highlights we have to look forward to for a busy Saturday of racing action. Here’s a complete look at what’s on tap, starting with the biggest stakes of the day.

$300,000 Ogden Phipps Stakes

Race 9 on a 10-race card at Belmont Park is a 1 1/16 mile stakes race on a dirt track. There are six four-year-old and upward filly and mare starters in the field. Point of Honor and Ollie’s Candy lead the way on the morning line at odds of 2-1 and 8-5 respectively.

$100,000 Louisville Stakes

The final event on an 11-race card at Churchill Downs is a 1 1/2 mile affair on turf. This one has a dozen four-year-old and upward runners set to take off. Kentucky-bred starter Arklow leads the way at 8-5, followed by Admission Office at 3-1.

$100,000 Thor’s Echo Handicap

Race 6 on a 9-race card at Santa Anita Park five three-year-old and upward California horses do battle over six furlongs on a dirt track. Desert Law gets the nod at 6-5 in what shapes up to be a tight field with the lowest odds set at 6-1.

$100,000 Woodstock Stakes

Race 7 on an 11-race card at Woodbine Race Track is six furlongs on an all weather track for eight three-year-old and upward starters. Florida-bred Entitled is the morning line favorite at 5-2, followed by Ontario-bred Clayton at odds of 3-1.

$100,000 Star Shoot Stakes
