One of the most popular horse racing carryover jackpots has once again reached an eye-popping number. The Gulfstream Park Pick 6 Jackpot hasn’t been hit for awhile, and the total carryover has climbed to a whopping $1,003,138 as of this writing.
What is the Gulstream Park Pick 6?
It’s known as the Rainbow Pick 6. Bettors are tasked with selecting the winners of six consecutive designated races on the card. When there’s not a single unique winner, those who picked all six correctly share in a portion of the pool, while the remainder carries over.
Bets on the Pick 6 are $.20 for those who are selecting just one winner in each race. You can pick as many horses as you would like for each race, and the cost of entry will naturally climb based on how many you choose.
For example, choosing two horses in each race would result in a ticket cost of $12.80, and so on. Hitting a unique Pick 6 is obviously not easy, but the chance is there for some nice scores on small wagering amounts as the pool continues to grow.

Gulfstream is scheduled to run on Saturday and Sunday as well, but full cards haven’t been released as of yet.
Two notes to keep in mind: First, if the Pick 6 is hit by a lone winner, the carryover will reset. Next, races are scheduled to continue to run at Gulfstream sans spectators due to Covid-19, but consider the schedule subject to change as additional news develops.
