2020 Pegasus World Cup Starting Field Announced

The starting field and alternates have been announced for the 2020 Pegasus World Cup. The race runs on January 25 and has a prize purse of $1,000,000.

Here’s a list of the horses in the field:

Arklow – Trained by Brad Cox. Arklow was foaled on February 7, 2014. In 24 starts, Arklow has six first place finishes, six second place finishes, and two third place finishes. Total career earnings are $1,816,382.

Channel Cat – Trained by Todd Pletcher. Channel Cat was foaled on March 5, 2015. In 20 starts Channel Cat has five first place finishes, two second place finishes, and five third place finishes. Total career earnings are $913,992.

Henley’s Joy – Trained by Michael Maker. Henley’s Joy was foaled on March 17, 2016. In 16 starts Henley’s Joy has four first place finishes, and three second places finishes. Total career earnings are $1,070,711.
